Biography (Rod)

Rod (Rod Deceman Rastom) was born on December 1979. He started to play music instrument in the early age of 11. From acoustics guitar, he learns more about other musical instrument as bass guitar, piano and drums. In 1997, during in secondary school, he met Brian Scoot (The Matice) and started his carrier with help from Brodie (bass) and Richy (drums). However, the band is not last longer and split in the end of 1995. Rod’s music was more to grunge, experimental rock and independent modern rock and much to Nirvana, Radiohead, Silverchair and Foo-Fighters songs. In the end of 1996, Rod forms his new band named ‘Solid Youth’ with support from Markwinston (bass) and Sharma Vennu. They started playing music and getting known with their songs. After 5 years, they wrote their own song and record their demo with helped from Mr. Melvin (Mistfire). Early in 2001, the band split because of the entire band member committed with their own carrier. From that year, Rod carry on his carrier to play drum as a seasoning and involved with other project band such as Transformerz , Raystars , Projex Monkey and many more. In the year of 2005, rod was called by Lester to join him and Timothy form a new band named “The Mckizz”.
